The Washington Room is named after one of the nearby Berkshires Mountains. This room features a high wood-beamed ceiling, and a double-size bed with headboard and footboard. It has an antique chest of drawers, a writing desk and chair, a cricket chair, and a very large closet. The room is decorated in pale greens with blue curtains over ivory sheers, handmade quilts, and a thought-provoking lithograph on the walls. The window offers a view of the Everett Forest in back. The room floor is currently carpeted, but soon will be wood. The shared bath is 2 steps down the hall that includes a tub and shower, blow dryer, spare towels and pull-out clothesline over the tub. The Washington Room is a non-pet friendly room, and it is not ADA compliant since it is on the second floor.
