The Taconic Room at Sheffield Lodge is named for the entire mountain range in the Berkshires. It has two twin beds, making it perfect for friends’ getaways or family vacations. It can be easily converted into a king-size bed with advance notice. The walls are off-white with burlap wallcovering and wood trimming. The room is full of fun things to dream about. There are discovery books, a blackboard and corkboard, and toys tucked away in the closet for when they are needed. There is a small desk with wall-mounted shelves above full of books and other interesting things. It has a high wood-beamed ceiling and a very large closet. The room floor is carpeted, but soon will be wood. The room shares a large bathroom across the hall with a tub, shower, blow dryer, spare towels and a clothesline over the tub. The Taconic Room is a non-pet friendly room and is not ADA compliant since it is on the second floor. A roll-away bed or crib can be used in this room (not both at one time).
